I remember my own wedding – how my wife and I carefully planned out every single detail. I remember how special my wedding day was and how much it mattered to me. But every time I look at our photos, I remember the feeling at each and every exact moment. That even though my wedding was years ago, it feels like it was just yesterday.

Now, it’s my turn to freeze those wonderful moments that mean so much to you. It may be your mother shedding tears of joy while you walk down the aisle. Josephus and Sunshine Wedding

I’ve been meaning to post this set on my blog for the longest time but somehow there were too many “out of the blue” circumstances that had to be on top of my list.

Now this blog is about high school sweethearts, Josephus and Sunshine. They were the winners of our “LVP Gives Back” Contest (more details here). I remember Sunshine mentioning in her speech during her wedding reception that she always dreamed of having her wedding in a beautiful island. Certainly, her groom made sure she got what she wanted and Bantayan Island in Cebu was just the perfect place.

But more than the place, it’s the vows that the Pus and Shyne prepared for each other that brought almost everyone to tears. And the reason why I love weddings is because each couple has a story to tell that is never just like anyone else’s.

So despite the month-late opening salvo for 2013, here are Josephus and Sunshine’s photos from their beautiful summer wedding last year.
